South Hams Radio Practice Net Donation                Home

As part of the ongoing fundraising for the new practice nets , colts coaches Doug Ansley , Tim Nand-Lal , Andy Stone , Erica Lee and The Deakin family ,  along with 8 colts , made the trip to South Hams Radio Station to pick up a cheque of £500.

The club intends to install a permanent practice net facility , with two practice bays ,  on site of the ground behind the pavilion before the start of this season. £2800 has already been raised , but more funds are needed.

The South Hams Radio Trust in 2007 made donations totalling £12,000 to 30 local community organisations in the South Hams area. Stoke Gabriel Cricket Club would like to thank them for making the donation towards the nets.

The Club would also like to thank Snowdon Honda , Euro Disney and The Devon Rural trusts for their donations towards the new practice facilities. As part of the fundraising we also have 4 Golf Tickets for a round of golf at Torquay Golf Club.
